FOR EVERY CHILD
Here at the Downingtown STEM Academy, we are passionate about helping children in need around the world and believe that every child should be able to receive the basic necessities that many of us are privileged to have everyday. With our club, we plan to advocate and spread the message of UNICEF not only to our high school, but to our community as well.
We hope that through our efforts we can make the world a better place one child at a time.
A VARIETY OF OPPORTUNITIES
Leadership Experience
Members can be the leaders of their own fundraising ideas. You will have the capability to direct your own events and appoint and recruit people to help you; these people can be from within the UNICEF club or other members of the school community.
Service Hours
Members will often be involved in volunteer work for either starting events, handling events, or participating in service-type events. These hours can be counted towards NHS, CAS, or any other type of service requirement.
Having Fun for a Good Cause
Membership will be engaging and rewarding. The events we will hold will be fun and memorable, while we raise money for important causes around the world.
